"B" is for bountiful bows ... This endearing Ostby and Barton signet ring abounds with romantic 1930s detail. The 10k gold ring's face is an oval plaque engraved with an elaborate letter "B." Rippling gold ribbons form the openwork shoulders; buckles and bows were popular motifs in the late Art Deco era. Signed with Ostby and Barton's OB mark. Circa 1930

American Jewelry manufacturers Ostby and Barton created pretty, decorative rings in the early 20th century. Ostby and his daughter were passengers on the Titanic; he perished while she survived.

Details... Currently a size 7.25. The top of the ring measures 18.3mm by 13mm, and the band is 2.7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. With vintage and antique pieces, some light wear is to be expected and considered part of the charm.
