Vintage Art Deco ring set with an oval amethyst gemstone surrounded by marcasite stones. Marcasites are actually Pyrite also known as Fools Gold. It was used in jewellery due to it's ability to catch the light, giving a diamond effect. A comfortable, classic vintage ring.
